We decided to go to Shoreditch on the 9th June 2006 to catch the last ever train to depart from Shoreditch, before we arrived we decided to do a "Bottle Challenge" which involves visiting all 50 stations inside the Circle Line bottle. (Euston is shown on the map but not included in the challenge). Myself & Dr Who teamed up on this challenge against Going Underground & K9, and The Fat Buoy. Despite making a couple of schoolboy errors we finished 1st in a time of 2'26"20, Fat Buoy was 2nd in 2'27"00 and Going Underground was 3rd in 2'27"02.
During the bottle challenge we waited about 8 minutes for a Circle line train at Aldgate, this was our first schoolboy error, we should have ran to Aldgate East and hopped on a District line train, it would have been far quicker!

We finally got to Whitechapel in time to catch the last train to Shoreditch, Dr. Who was knackered (it was a very hot day around 80 F)

Are London Underground mad? Why are they closing such a busy station?
The final train prepares to depart Shoreditch heading for New Cross Gate.
The Tube Challenge team departed from New Cross Gate and we all went for a drink at The Captain Kidd in Wapping, followed by a MacDonalds at Earls Court. Boy do we know how to live it up?
