Russell Square Mouse
The first official "Mouse" challenge took place on Saturday 14th October 2006. The starting station was selected as Russell Square, due to the fact that Piccadilly line trains were not stopping at Kings Cross. Six keen challengers turned up for the event and were meet by a Russian journalist Margo Grigoryan. Margo wanted to do a report on Tube Challenging for the BBC Russian service. The full report (in Russian) can be heard by clicking the link, the piece about Tube Challenge starts on the 19th minute.
