Guinness World Record (tm) Attempts
The current record is held by Antony, Jamie, Kevin & Phillip Brown and John Stark, who travelled through all 274 stations on the London Underground network in a time of 18 hr 20 min 26 sec on 25 July 2007. The record has become increasingly popular in recent years thanks to the televised attempts of Geoff Marshall and the Tubechallenge.com website.

On 22nd December 2007, The East London Line (ELL) closed. When it re-opens in 2010 it will no longer be an Underground line as it will become part of London Overground. Guinness World Records have therefore declared that a new record, of less than 18 hours 10 minutes, must be set for the 268 stations excluding the ELL.
** On 29th December 2007, Antony, Jamie & Phillip Brown set a time of 17 hours 30 mins 51 secs, subject to Guinness approval this will be the provisional 268 station record.
