Cannon Street Run II

Bottle Challenge Index
Ahoy shipmates, ye Cannon Street Run II took place on the 19th September 2007. A motley crew of eight scurvey seadogs set sail from Cannon Street shortly after 7 bells. To find the buried treasure the jolly seamen had to plot a course around the "Bottle" and then head for some grog at Ye Captain Kidd in Wapping. So how did the seafarers fare?
Cannon Street Run 1
Capt'n Jacks Log
Myself & Master Jamie set sail in a westerly direction taking the Circle Line to Bayswater. A brisk trot to Queensway rewarded us with a few strange looks from ye landlubbers. At Queensway we only had a 1 minute wait for the Central Line and travelled as far as Oxford Circus. Another 1 minute wait and we were away on the Bakerloo heading toward Paddington. No time to waste and within 1 minute we were on the Circle line again heading toward Euston Square (in ye dreaded Euston Triangle!) for a wee jog to Warren Street. Another 1 minute wait saw us on the Northern line heading down to Charing Cross for a double back to Tottenham Court Road. The seas were calm and we didn't have more than a couple of minutes to wait for our onward vessels. From TCR we headed to Bank on the Central line and then ran back to Cannon Street (just for fun...) to catch the Circle line again within 1 minute. This time we headed easterly as far as King's Cross, were we had a two minute wait for the Piccadilly. Our final voyage was uneventful and we eventually laid anchor at Knightsbridge in a very impressive 2 hours 2 minutes exactly.
